CNC machining center,
Computer Numerical Control’
These are automatic machines that operate with computers or special control systems, with electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems working in harmony with mechanical systems. They can perform operations such as cutting, shaping, and drilling metal parts with high precision using a programmed memory. They enable the rapid, serial production of parts with consistent precision.
Each movement represents an axis. A simple CNC machining center has X, Y, and Z servo-controlled axes. There is one servo-controlled spindle. It offers a precise speed range. The workpiece is secured to a flat surface, referred to as a "table," using a vise, fixture, or special clamping techniques. The tools are stored in a tool magazine. Thanks to the tool change system positioned with a servo or hydraulic system, tools are automatically attached to or replaced on the spindle. This allows for the production of cutting and drilling tools suitable for different purposes, which are called from the sequential tools in the magazine according to the processing order.
Depending on the technical equipment,
there are designs equipped with 4-axis, 5-axis, or various special cutting tools and measuring techniques.
CNC machining centers are used in the production of products designed with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. This software designs the part to be produced in a computer environment and converts this design into numerical commands that the CNC lathe machine can understand. The machine follows these commands and processes the raw material with appropriate cutting tool definitions to produce the final product.
It caters to all industries that use various raw materials such as steel, plastic, wood, composite, and glass.
